The mailing of renewal voter registration certificates is delayed throughout the State of Texas due to ongoing litigation regarding state redistricting plans.
Previous voter registration certificates, printed on white/blue cards, expired on December 31, 2011.  Renewal certificates, printed on white/yellow cards, will be mailed to all registered voters once the state redistricting plans are finalized by the Federal Courts.
Voters can expect to receive their new certificate before the 2012 Primary Elections.
